Fleeting moments, seconds, fragments, eternity captured in pictures - "Through the Screen" is the new CD from the extraordinary Berlin musician and composer Stepha, who until now has been active in different areas such as film music, new music and rock-pop in New York, Paris, The Hague and Berlin.

The album "Through the Screen" is a kaleidoscope of up-tempo rock, pop songs, echoes of VU and an 8-minute grand-piano finale. This comprehensive musical spectrum is reflected in the vocals as well. The singing ranges from rocking grooves to frail, tender tones, which gently glide through the music.

The lyrics are shreds of thoughts, associations seemingly rudimentary and yet in their simplicity leave no word missing. They come from the heart of life in the big city.

The versatility of Stepha, both musically and vocally make for a completely exciting album.
"Through the Screen" is truly exceptional!

The CD will appear November 10th 2006, accompanied by a record release concert at Lido Berlin.
